How did the idea for the series come about?

This series with Duna was inspired by the Twin Peaks’ atmosphere created by David Lynch. A mysterious kind of story. Duna is a soft and beautiful girl. After choosing the outfit and fixing other small details of the shoot I followed my instinct and was capturing the moment with my inspiring model.

Can we photograph the female body in a more powerful way?

I think that every kind of way is possible if you know how to get ‘it’ out of the photographed person. The female body is extremely inspiring and has got so many meanings and feelings revolving around it.

How would you define beauty and what inspires you?

To be honest I don’t know how I could define beauty. For me beauty is all around us. Life is a huge inspiration by itself. When the human beings do something for each other gratuitously and in the name of love. That’s beauty. The small talk with our beloved one. The moment when you laugh with your soulmate. That’s beauty and inspiration for me. I think that photos are just trophies of the beauty around us.

Film or digital?

Film! So many more surprises and unique moments with film.

What makes you happy and what’s next for you?

My family makes me happy, walking on the sunny street makes me happy. Knowing that soon I will give a hug to all my beloved ones makes me insanely happy! Creating of course too! I guess I’m a very positive person in general. The next step for me is to organize my life and realizing all the ideas that I have and focusing and experimenting more with photography, art and cinematography!
