Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week Vol 4

The Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week S/S19 has come to an end and we are going to recap the last day of the fashion shows.

It’s 6am in the morning and the party is not over yet. Music is playing out loud and wasted people are wondering around with empty bottles of champagne. Okay, it’s not exactly 6am in the morning and neither we are at some fierce party.

Lukáš Krnáč, Vivien Babicová and Kristýna Coufalová – all three students of Fashion Design Studio (ADO) at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Their main inspiration for the SS19 collection is unexpectedly a Party. Which is also the whole theme of the fashion show. Animal patterns, pink glitters, meshes, transparent heels and blurred lips and the iconic Vivien’s seatbelt bags.

Fashion and art collective Outsider’s Division is made up of David Mendez Alonso, Alberto Perancho and Ales Gallifa – a group of young designers based across Spain. Cult films, underground graffiti scene and a simple concept of joy inspired the whole collection. That’s why we could see pieces like oversized leather trousers, orange-furry jacket or chunky sneakers.

The closing fashion show was in hands of two designers Radka Sirková and Anna Tušková working under the name CHATTY. Their collection was inspired by sport, specifically swimming, which we could see on the screens before the show. Then came the models with their hair wet and wearing nose clips showcasing pieces that excelled on quality materials and construction.

The fashion week might be over now but we still got some surprise coming for you in the next days. So stay tuned!
